ARC Addiction: September edition

It’s been a month since I confessed my ARC addiction, and while I'd love to say I've reformed, that would be a lie. My TBR pile is still towering, my eReader is on the verge of combustion, and the deadlines? Let's just say they're more like "strong suggestions" at this point.
But here's the thing: even though I'm drowning in unread ARCs, I just can't stop requesting more. There's something irresistible about the thrill of getting my hands on a new release before everyone else—it's like a bookworm's version of winning the lottery. So, despite my better judgment (and limited reading time), I've once again found myself with a stack of ARCs that need my attention this month.
In this post, I'm diving into the titles that have made the cut for September. Let’s just say this month’s reading list is going to be an adventure.
Immortal Dark
Publication date: Sep 03 2024
Genre: Fantasy, Romance
Series: Immortal Dark Trilogy #1
Pages: 432
From: Netgalley
About | Goodreads:
It began long before my time, but something has always hunted our family.
Orphaned heiress Kidan Adane grew up far from the arcane society she was born into, where human bloodlines gain power through vampire companionship. When her sister, June, disappears, Kidan is convinced a vampire stole her—the very vampire bound to their family, the cruel yet captivating Susenyos Sagad.
To find June, Kidan must infiltrate the elite Uxlay University—where students study to ensure peaceful coexistence between humans and vampires and inherit their family legacies. Kidan must survive living with Susenyos—even as he does everything he can to drive her away. It doesn’t matter that Susenyos’s wickedness speaks to Kidan’s own violent nature and tempts her to surrender to a life of darkness. She must find her sister and kill Susenyos at all costs.
When a murder mirroring June’s disappearance shakes Uxlay, Kidan sinks further into the ruthless underworld of vampires, risking her very soul. There she discovers a centuries-old threat—and June could be at the center of it. To save her sister, Kidan must bring Uxlay to its knees and either break free from the horrors of her own actions or embrace the dark entanglements of love—and the blood it requires.

About | Goodreads
The land of Ascarlia, a fabled realm of bloodied steel and epic sagas, has been ruled by the Sister Queens for centuries. No one has dared question their rule.
Until now.
Whispers speak of longships of mysterious tattooed warriors, sailing under the banners of a murderous cult of oath-breakers long thought extinct. A tide of black steel that threatens to vanquish all in its path.
Thera of the Blackspear, favoured servant of the Sister Queens, is ordered to uncover the truth. As Thera sails north, her reviled brother, Felnir, sets out on his own adventure. He hopes to find the Vault of the Altvar – the treasure room of the gods – and win the Sister Queens’ favour at his sister’s expense.
Both siblings – along with a brilliant young scribe and a prisoner with a terrifying, primal power – will play a part in the coming storm.
The Age of Wrath has begun.
Any of these on your radar?
So, what do you think? Are any of these on your radar too? I’m genuinely excited about every single one of them, but let’s be real—do you think I’ll actually manage to read them all by the end of next month? I have my doubts, and considering I'm a terrible mood reader, sticking to a schedule is a bit like trying to herd cats. But I’ll give it my best shot, so stay tuned for my reviews!
Next month, I promise I’ll try harder to resist that oh-so-tempting request button… but no guarantees. If you enjoy these posts, let me know! Your feedback might just give me the motivation I need to keep going—or at least make me feel less guilty about my ARC habit.
